Complete Swimming Pool Rules


HOURS – 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. ADULTS only.
8:00 a.m. – 9: p.m. for ALL RESIDENTS.
The pool will be open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

1. All residents will be asked to sign an agreement form before receiving their key.
2. No smoking.
3. No alcohol products in pool area.
4. No pets or other animals.
5. No running, pushing, horseplay, profanity or throwing of large or sharp objects.
6. Glass is not allowed.
6a.  Other food and drink are allowed, but restricted to table areas only.
7. All litter must be picked up.
8. All guests must be accompanied by an adult resident and also follow pool rules.
9. No guests age 14 and under without parents supervision are allowed– over age 15, limited to one        
guest per member.
10. Everyone under age 21 must respond to an adult resident or will be asked to leave.
11. Audio equipment may be used only with ear phones.
12. Flotation devices should be small and kept to a minimum. No two person rafts.
13. Appropriate swim attire is required to swim.
14. Long hair must be tied back or kept in a swimcap.
15. Wading pool is for children under age 5 ONLY.
16. Infants and toddlers (children under 3) must wear a swim diaper.
17. Residents will have access to the restrooms during pool hours only.
18. Pool will be closed and gate will be chained one hour if unsafe levels of chlorine are present, or any other hazard exists.

STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH REGULATIONS
These regulations are set by the Indiana State Department of Health and must be followed.
If they are not, Bittersweet Lakes is subject to having the pool closed immediately.

1. Anyone under 14 years of age must be accompanied by someone 18 or older.
2. Pool gate must be locked behind each group that enters the pool area at all times.
3. No diving is allowed.
4. As no lifeguard is available, all swimming is at one's own risk.
5. A telephone is available, but it is for emergency use only.


Pool privileges for the entire household will be revoked if above rules are not followed.

Anyone found in the pool area after it is closed, or found causing vandalism of any kind in the pool
area, clubhouse or tennis courts will be reported to the police.
